The youth trip to Washington was a great success! The youth visited The Capitol, Air and Space Museum, Natural History Museum, Holocaust Museum, Smithsonian Zoo, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and last but not least our National Cathedral. A particular museum that had a profound affect on all who went on this trip was the Holocaust museum. There some of the youth were able to meet and listen to stories from Elly Gross a holocaust survivor of the most terrible concentration camp in Germany, Auschwitz. The trip was a great ...
